The Greek Poker Tour (GPT), is the first and largest Greek organization for poker tournaments in Europe and was an idea by the Pokerunion team (www.pokerunion.gr) that became reality.

The fourth season of the Greek Poker Tour (2010-2011), is taking place at the capital of Austria, the beautiful Vienna and the well known Concord Card Casino and is open to players of all nationalities.

The new season of Greek Poker Tour starts with a series of exciting poker tournaments, which will run between the 22nd and 26th of September 2010. You can find the detailed tournament schedule here .

The Greek Poker Tour series has established itself as one of the largest non-EPT events in Europe, attracting the most important online poker rooms as its sponsors. The Greek Poker Tour sponsors offer their customers the chance to win packages to the festival, with little or no cost, through online satellite tournaments and other special offers.

The festival of January 2010, the second for the third season, was an extreme success! All five events made new records of entries and prize pools, with the 305 participants and the €152,500 prize pool of Main Event comprising the largest and richest Greek tournament! Last festival of April was also a great success, with Dimitris Panagopoulos winning the biggest prize ever awarded to a winner of Greek poker tournament!

The first season of the Greek Poker Tour (2007-2008) was hosted at the Apollonia Club Casino, FYROM and was the first meeting with live poker for the majority of the Greek poker players.  The competition was a large success, attracting many players from around Greece in all of the total 4 events.
